Water-saving irrigation equipment: application of drip irrigation and micro-sprinkler irrigation

Drip irrigation technology should be adopted for vegetables. For flowers, seedlings, soilless cultivated plants and ornamental plants, micro-sprinkler irrigation technology can generally be used. Generally, micro-sprinkler irrigation technology is not suitable for vegetables in facilities.

Drip irrigation technology refers to the irrigation method and irrigation technology that a certain amount of low pressure irrigation water is delivered to the final pipeline in the facility and the dripper installed on it through the low pressure water transmission and distribution pipeline, and drips evenly and accurately into the soil surface near the crop root zone or the soil layer where the crop root zone is located at a small flow rate. Drip irrigation technology belongs to local irrigation method.

Micro-sprinkler irrigation technology is an irrigation method and technology that uses tiny sprinklers to evenly and accurately spray pressure water on the branches and leaves of each plant or on the soil surface around the plant roots, with the help of the micro-sprinklers installed on the final pipeline in the facility and the water transmission and distribution pipeline. The micro-sprinkler irrigation technology can be local irrigation or irrigation.
